Rise Again: The Phoenix and the Power of a Reset
There’s a reason the phoenix has stood the test of time as a symbol of rebirth.
In every story, every culture, the message stays the same — the phoenix burns, falls, and then rises from its own ashes, stronger and more radiant than before.
That’s what a reset is.
Not an ending, but a renewal.
At Rocky Mountain Reset, the phoenix represents what happens when life knocks us down — when we lose something, or even lose ourselves — and still choose to rise again.
It’s about rebuilding, piece by piece, even when it hurts.
It’s about growth through fire, and transformation through effort.
🔥 The Fire That Transforms
Every reset begins with a fire — sometimes literal, sometimes emotional.
Maybe it’s the loss of a job, the end of a relationship, an addiction overcome, or a near-death experience that changes everything.
The flames burn away what’s no longer needed — fear, ego, denial — and what’s left is raw truth.
That’s the power of the phoenix: it doesn’t avoid the fire.
It steps into it, knowing that what’s destroyed today will be the foundation of tomorrow’s rise.
🌄 New Peaks. New Paths.
The mountains remind us of the same lesson.
Every climb starts at the bottom. Every trail has loose footing.
But as you rise, your view changes — perspective grows, the air clears, and you realize how far you’ve come.
The phoenix on our logo isn’t just a design — it’s a call to anyone ready to climb again.
To find strength in the struggle.
To see the ashes not as an end, but as a new beginning.
🫶 Helping Others Rise
Part of the phoenix story is that it shares its light.
That’s why $2 from every Rocky Mountain Reset purchase goes toward helping others start over — supporting local programs for recovery, rebuilding, and mental health.
Because once you’ve learned to rise, you can help lift others too.
✨ Your Reset Starts Here
Whether your “fire” was physical, emotional, or spiritual — your story matters.
The phoenix reminds us all: you can begin again, no matter how deep the ashes.
Wear the symbol proudly.
Live your reset.
And keep rising.
My Hard Reset.
It all begins with an idea.
The Story
My name is Chris Shea, and in late July 2025, my life changed. I had fallen off the sober wagon and started drinking again after nearly a full year of sobriety. I convinced myself that I wasn’t really an alcoholic. I began drinking again on May 31st, just eight days before hitting my one-year mark sober. That didn’t end well. On July 26th, I was drunk and got into a serious scooter accident that left me with five skull fractures (one causing brain damage), thirteen rib fractures across seven ribs, and a shattered right clavicle. The impact tore muscle throughout my chest and shoulder, and I spent two weeks in a coma and forty days in Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. The doctors told my family I’d either die or wake up as someone else, with half my brain gone. But they were wrong. I woke up still me, in pain, but aware that I needed to reset in the hardest way possible. Healing became my full-time job, and it taught me that sometimes the biggest resets come from the worst crashes.
That’s why Rocky Mountain Reset exists, to turn that pain and healing into something that helps others start again too. With every item sold, $2 Canadian is donated to organizations and community groups dedicated to helping people reset their lives, whether that means recovery from addiction, rebuilding after loss, or finding a fresh start in the Rockies and beyond. I’ve spent over 22 years working as an electrician, mostly out of town, but now that I have a young son, I want to build something that lets me stay home, something meaningful that still supports my family. This brand is part of that new chapter. Every purchase helps fund real resets for others, while also helping me build a life rooted in purpose, family, and home.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story and support Rocky Mountain Reset. This whole idea is about real people helping real people reset their lives, and I’d love your input. If you know of a local group, charity, or organization that truly helps people start over, please reach out and tell me about them. Every two months, we’ll choose a new group to donate to, six a year in total, as long as they’re the real deal and truly there for those who need a second chance. Your suggestions can help guide where the next reset begins. Please contact me through email. I had my phone number listed before, but after getting too many scam calls, I decided to remove it.
